Ken and Elaine cover all wedding photography. Our emphasis is on avoiding the boring and cheesy wedding photography of yesteryear, and concentrating on Style, Elegance and Fun.
Ken is a qualified member of both 'The British Institute of Professional Photography' and 'The Master Photographers Association' both widely regarded as the industry standard for professional photographic excellence. Elaine is the unsung hero with the patience of a saint and the unique ability to restore calm to the sometimes chaotic start of the wedding day, she will assist with anything from fixing dad's button hole to helping to dress the bridesmaids, along with keeping the finer details in order throughout the day.
Our day covering your wedding photography typically begins with arriving at the home or hotel room (if requested) of the bride in order to begin capturing all of the fun, fuss and excitement of the bride's preparation. The grooms are especially pleased with the photographs taken at this time, as they never get to see this part of the day.
We then make for the Church or place of marriage, where we will get some great photographs of the groom, best man and everyone else who may be there.
Where permission has been granted, photographs will be taken during the course of the service, (without the use of flash), and of the signing of the register. Once the ceremony has finished, photographs would be taken of the family groups, (but only if requested, and even then we will endeavour to avoid the dreaded, straight lines of people and cheesy grins), either in the church grounds, the reception venue or any other pre-arranged location. Once completed, the remaining time (as much as you allow), would then be devoted to modern, exiting and stylish photography of the bridal group, giving special emphasis to the Bride and Groom. Above all we endeavour to provide you with a beautiful collection of photographs, in a very modern style to reflect what today's discerning couples are looking for, whilst always remembering that it is 'YOUR' special day.
Any requests for additional photographs during the day, or indeed, the evening will be attended to, wherever possible, and time allowing.
Only one wedding per day is undertaken and our time is devoted to that wedding for the whole of the day, if required.
